Role of the Business Case Manager
The Business Case Manager leads the planning, production and delivery of the FMRI Business Case on behalf of the Senior Responsible Owner.
The responsibilities of the Business Case Manager include:
- Leading the activities required to develop a robust and compelling business case in accordance with HM Treasury Green Book guidance.
- Drafting and production of quality business case documents, ensuring that these are concise and clearly written with the audience in mind.
- Engaging and involving professional experts to ensure that business case development is informed by relevant expert knowledge.
- Managing the approvals process for the business case.
Lisa Evans Business Case Manager
As the Business Case Manager, Lisa aims to support the SRO by leading the creation of a robust and compelling business case and managing the approvals process. Lisa joined NERC as Programme Sponsor in April 2020 following a successful project management career in Network Rail.
It is a joy to be working with such inspirational people to develop a business case for such an important goal.
